> STAFF UPDATE: We are growing! We currently have 22 professional staff serving our ministry: 3 Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), 11 Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC), and 8 Master Level Interns. We are so thankful for each one who serves BoH, Praise God!!
> 80 CENTS: If one saved 80¢ per day for one year and then gave those savings to BoH, they would provide 12 counseling sessions for someone in need. Want to provide more counseling? Just save a little more each day.
> Heart of West Michigan United Way: BoH is registerd with the HWMUW and can receive your United Way gifts. Check with your employer to see if they support UV and you can choose BoH to receive your giving.
> PANTRY NEEDS: Staple items we can always use: peanut butter, canned fruit, canned veggies, canned meats, soups, pasta & sauce, cereal, mac & cheese. Food drives are a continuous need. Ask your small group, buisness, family or neighbors to get involved. One case of food makes a big difference.
> KNIFE SHARPENING CLINIC: Teerman's Downtown Holland will be hosting a knife sharpening clinic on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 11am to 3pm. Bring your kitchen knives to be professional sharpened. All proceeds benefit the BoH Pantry in Holland.
> THANK YOU: We are grateful to all who gave towards the Christmas adoptions, shopped, wrapped and delivered the gifts to 23 families. We are so appreciative of your giving hearts!
> THANK YOU: Several "thank you's" go out to the following groups who held food drives recently: Talmer West Bank, Lakeshore Little People's Place, Pullman Bible Church, Maplewood Reformed Church, Hudsonville Christian Middle School. Many thanks for your help in providing food for those in need throughout the Holland area.
> SPEAKING: Executive Director, Kyle Thompson, will be speaking at an upcoming Hudsonville Christian Middle School chapel service. He recently spoke at the Holland Optimist Club as well. Want to know more about Beacon of Hope? Invite Kyle to come and speak to your group too.
