Thanksgiving 2009, Beacon of Hope was honored to partner with Catering Concepts to provide a full, hot Thanksgiving meal to those in need. Together we ministered to 210 people! As we delivered the meals on Thanksgiving morning, we were greeted with hugs and tears. It was such a blessing to serve the body of Christ this Thanksgiving!
In 2008 we began this partnership in providing full, hot Thanksgiving meals and we served 126 people. Praise God that we have been able to share His love with others through a simple meal.

Christmas Blessings
With the generosity of several families and businesses, Beacon of Hope was able to adopt 23 families for Christmas 2010 (17 families in 2009)! Each person, 96 in all, received Christmas gifts that were picked out specfically for them. In this way, Christmas was very special as each person received gifts they needed....children received things such as winter coats, boots, hats, clothes, a toy....Mom's and Dad's received things like work shoes, jeans, winter coats and boots, blankets/sheets....families were given hope in their situation....Christ's love was shared by all!
